Sonic Frontiers getting The Final Horizon update in September

Throughout Gamescom’s Opening Night Live occasion, Sega announced that The Last Horizon, the last upgrade for Sonic Frontiers, will be readily available on September 28. The Final Horizon is a complimentary update featuring a brand-new story, brand-new playable characters, and new difficulties.

The expose trailer opens with the core cast of characters from the video game leaving of a mist. It appears that Amy, Tails, and Knuckles are in some way stuck in Cyber Space (again). As the trailer goes on, it’s shown that the gang is taking a look at another giant, Titan, and before the trailer ends, Sonic uses all of the Chaos Emeralds to go Super Sonic before combating the Titan.

The Final Horizon is simply one of many updates for Sonic Frontiers. Earlier this year, Sega launched the Sights, Sounds, and Speed update, which introduced brand-new challenge modes, an image mode, and Jukebox that played in-game music. There was Sonic’s Birthday Bash upgrade, which allowed you to change the look of Sonic, his friends, Kocos, and even the island.
