Mortal Kombat 1's multiverse-y reboot looks next-gen with a klassic touch - Polygon

The Mortal Kombat 1 preorder beta ran this previous weekend, and one player has actually found that the game has an ease of access alternative that narrates casualties to you, and it’s both practical and amusing.

The news originates from X user (Twitter) Edmond Tran. In the post, it checks out:

” Also, HOLY S– T #MortalKombat 1 has a detailed audio option for Fatalities and it is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE.”

In the video, we’re revealed two Li Mei, with among them about to perform a fatality on the other. As soon as the animation starts, a storyteller begins to describe what Le Mei is doing to her opponent, and the narrative seems like something you ‘d hear in an animal documentary when a lion will consume its victim. What makes it even more funnier is how calmly the storyteller describes these horrific actions.

If you wish to see much more videos like this and have a few minutes to spare, head over to the GamesHubDotCom TikTok account, where they recorded footage of a handful of other fatalities with the exact same narrator explaining what’s occurring.

Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled to come out later on this year on September 14 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
