Spencer just recently told Eurogamer that people buying the Xbox Series S need to not expect all the features and systems that the same game on Series X may have.

“There are features that deliver on X today that do not ship on S, even from our own games, like ray-tracing that works on X, it’s not on S in certain video games. So for an S client, they spent roughly half what the X consumer purchased, they understand that it’s not going to run the very same way,” he said.

Baldur’s Gate 3 was released on PC earlier this month and became a fast success, reaching more than 875,000 peak concurrent gamers to rise up the Steam charts. Over its very first weekend, time spent playing Baldur’s Gate 3 comprised a quarter of total playtime throughout Steam.

Baldur’s Gate 3 releases on PlayStation on September 6. A release date for the Xbox edition has not been announced.
