Destiny 2 Crota's End Raid: Release date, race to world's first, streams, more - Dexerto

Bungie has officially revealed that the repeated raid returning in the Season of the Witch will be Crota’s End, a raid that was included with Fate’s first growth The Dark Below in 2014. The repeated Crota’s End will also start a brand-new World First race for fireteams to complete for a desired belt.

Crota’s End jobs players with braving the risks of the Lunar Hellmouth to confront Hive Prince Crota, Oryx’s banished kid. Bungie alerts gamers not to be too contented even if they recognized with Crota’s End back in the original Destiny, as it has been altered a little to fit with the Destiny 2 sandbox.

Crota’s End will be readily available on Friday, September 1 from the day-to-day reset at 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET. Just like other raids, Contest Mode will be active for the first 48 hours for players trying to find more of a difficulty, or for fireteams aiming to object to the World First title.

In order to nab the title, and the desirable World First raid belts for Crota’s End, fireteams will need to finish the raid in Contest Mode, total the Crota’s End Challenge mode, and make the Superior Swordplay Triumph. Once a fireteam loots the last chest in Challenge Mode and go back to orbit, they will be crowned World First to be commemorated in addition to the winners from previous raids.

While only one group can win the World First belts, other teams who complete the challenge will still be rewarded with an unique emblem for their efforts. Bungie will be streaming the World First race for Crota’s End on Twitch Rivals.
