SteamWorld Build Releases In December, Gets Simultaneous Game Pass Launch
SteamWorld Build will release on December 1; it launches on Xbox Game Pass the same day. The city-builder is the current in the genre-eclectic series from Thunderful Development.
A new trailer, announcing the release date, shows off the game’s town construction and mining operations, along with flickers of its story. In order to construct a rocket to a brighter world, you’ll have to mine resources, construct buildings, ward off opponent beasts, and find ancient spaceship parts. The game is broadly divided into two parts. You’ll construct out your town on the surface area of the world and dive below to oversee mining. On the surface area, you will develop real estate, home entertainment complexes, stores, and whatever else your workers require to make it through and flourish.
Listed below ground, you’ll build out mining infrastructure like tunnels and break rooms. You can also build armories and defense turrets to help your Steambots defend the mine from giant bugs and carnivorous plants. As you clear ground, you will dig up ancient equipment to help you build your rocket to the stars.
SteamWorld Build is the series’ very first foray into city-building. SteamWorld Dig 1 and 2 are mining metroidvanias, SteamWorld Heist is a claustrophobic strategies video game, and SteamWorld Quest is a card-based RPG. The upcoming SteamWorld Headhunter is a co-op action adventure in 3 measurements.
